What we work on
- AI extraction of tables and key-value fields from PDFs, scanned documents and photos.
- Checks that catch wrong numbers before they reach a spreadsheet, such as the balance check on bank statements.
- A workspace where people review, correct and clean extracted data, then export it to Excel, CSV or JSON.
- The developer side: a REST API, an MCP server and a Chrome extension.
- Landing pages, guides and tools that help people find the right converter for their document.
What it is built with
- The web app is React and TypeScript. The API is Express running on Vercel, with Supabase for the database, authentication and file storage, and Google's Gemini models for extraction.

- Marketing and Growth (Marketing, Remote, Contract, apply by 27 December 2026): We are looking for someone who is passionate about marketing and about growing a business, and patient enough to build growth step by step: finding the people who need Datafromfile, reaching them and turning visitors into regular users.
